Midsummer Picnic and Plant Walk (PAST)

We will first start with a short plant walk, discussing the different plants in bloom. We will invite people to pick a plant to connect with, and then we will sit for a short time to get to know the plant quietly. After our short sit with the plant, we will discuss what we noticed or learned. I will then talk about some European Midsummer traditions. 

After this, we will have our picnic! We hope to facilitate community and connection between plant lovers, gardeners, nature mystics, environmentalists, herbalists, outdoorsy folk, and more. 

If you will be participating in the picnic, please bring a beverage or food to share with others. We will not provide lawn chairs or picnic blankets, so bring your own if you need one. We will meet at Yaraha Place Park where the river meets the lake, where Riverside Dr meets Yahara Pl.
